"Having the opportunity to travel to Sicily through the PLP program has allowed my to reach one my dreams of traveling to Europe. Though more importantly it enabled me to bring my textbooks and studies to life. As a Classical Studies major, it is sometimes hard to imagine life in the 4th and 5th century but being able to see and touch Greek and Roman columns, roads, houses, theaters, etc. brought my education to life and now I have a desire to learn and see more thanks to the PLP program."
